Behind the Box - What Lies Beneath

We celebrated the diversity of our oceans for August's box with a wonderful collection of deep sea characters.

It seemed like a good idea to create an ocean-themed box for August, with the team off on summer holidays and enjoying the seaside all over the world.

From inventing a wonderfully whimsical set of sea creatures for the mini greetings card set, to designing a box of mints featuring some cute whales, we had lots of fun creating the characters for this month's theme.

The design of August's box also marked a change in direction for Boxcitement into a more sustainable choice of products and packaging (read more here). We celebrated the changes we have made by donating proceeds from this box to The Marine Conservation Society; I hope you agree this is a worthy cause.

We included some lovely jewellery made especially for us as well as useful and exclusive homewares in this box and we have had some lovely feedback - thank you to everyone who got in touch!
